Missed Phone Interveiw

Had wrong time zone written down for a phone interview and missed it. Any suggestions on how to fix that / limit the negative aspect?

Follow up with an email that contains a brief yet informative explanation for the missed interview. Also request to reschedule your interview, and express that you have interest in a career there. After that, cross your fingers that they have not written you off and will give you a second opportunity.

email reruiter / HR ASAP and explain / apologize. Ask when they would be available to reschedule.

The only interveiw I ever "failed" was due to the same thing. I realized I had the wrong time zone and called in 15 minutes late. I had no shot. it was a horrible interview from start to finish.

Time zone discrepancies happen all the time to me in business dealings. They should understand.
