There's a Paris FC in Ligue 2. I think they'll stick with Saint Germain as the name insinuates the uniting of two clubs; the old Paris FC and Stade Saint Germain.

But Paris St Germain came from a uniting of the original Paris FC and St. Germain in 1970.

Not a big change, but, like other people have mentioned they're really de-emphasizing the "Saint-Germain" in addition to the graphic part of the logo. I'm not sure I like the less prominent look of the Eiffel Tower.

I really think it is cartoonish because that is a screen shot of a graphic. The same thing happened when they leaked the Pelicans' logo. It was a screen shot of a "3D" logo, so it looked funny.
Really, the only difference is the middle circle got smaller, thus making the Eiffel Tower smaller. They emphasized Paris and got rid of the cradle.

Got one for christmas! I'm not really a supporter though...I just like to collect kits. Plus Paris is one of the coolest cities in the world.
The flat logo does look better, but I still like the former.

I do all the time. They breathe ok. They keep the heat in though if you're wearing an undershirt.
