Watching it tonight with the kids and I realized that this could be the best movie ever created. It is fantastic.

What I love about UP is that they told more of a story in those 8 minutes with no dialogue whatsoever than most live action did in two hours. The opening of the movie can make any grown man cry. Then in the second act ( spoiler) we get the dogs that can speak with the assistance of special collars. Brilliant.

The movie has more meaningful pieces than any movie produced in the past 10 years.
I know it was nominated for Best Picture and it didn't win because it was an animated film. But no film that year deserved it more than Up.

Rick Astley will let you borrow any movie from his Pixar collection except for one. He's never going to give you Up.
