Kids leave LA = fence is down

Take 20 instate kids = we aren't recruiting OOS

take 12 or more OOS kids= Les can't recruit instate

Kid picks bama= he will get buried on the depth chart. Oh and fence is down.

I love this place.

I agree with that. I've always said that there's nothing that Bama can offer that LSU can't.

But to freak out when LSU is far more than capable of landing top OOS recruits that replace those kids that want to leave the state.

Maybe this is an example of how Cameron can make a great impact.

I feel much better about LSU's chances of landing him with Cameron there. Also, I don't expect much from Stud, who is at best a mediocre recruiter. Maybe he can surprise some of us.

What scares me is that we pumped up 2014 to be this dream team and anything sort of that will be a disappointment. We could only go down.

Then, by cracky, we better recruit a dream team!

Actually, he and his mom really like Stud alot! That's why it's a big deal that Bama just lost Coach Groh, the coach who was recruiting Cam.

He's an LSU lean right now

Haven't talked to my guy this week. I've been working 60+ hours the past 2 weeks. He had a blast at Junior Day. It's so close that I'm sure since he was at LSU last he's probably an LSU lean. Honestly, this is one as fans that we really don't need to hang on every word. It'll be back and forth and a war until he signs.

The coach for Bama leaving is a big plus for LSU though. One thing I do want to say is everyone needs to stop saying WM = LSU. It's not like that in this situation. He's going to make the best decision for himself. Not choose a college because the high school he attends.

This is your reasoning, but not the reasoning of a teenager. It is possible some kids may feel more comfortable at another school. These kids do what's best for them based on what they are thinking. Home state fans go nuts when homegrown products choose to leave to state.

It's not my reasoning, it's objective fact. LSU is one of about 3 or 4 absolutely elite programs that more than any other school in the country. There is no other program that offers more, only ones that offer about the same.

Did you miss the part where I explained why this happens? Why are you repeating this?

Last year was his first season at WM. He played at Ouachita before that. The move was legal, but my understanding was he wanted to win a championship and apparently had no problem moving across the river to play for your teams most hated rival. Past behavior is a good indicator of future behavior. The ONLY thing LSU has over Bama is his family is only a 3&1/2 hour drive away.
