The Evolution of Rex Ryan

Just watched his press conference on ESPN...what happened to this dude? He has gone from my least favorite coach in to the league to what appears to be a down to earth, humble guy that just cares about his team. Where did the arrogance go? Was he humbled by the past 2 shitty years? Did he just finally grow up? I don't follow the Jets at all so I was wondering if there was some stuff yall could fill me in on.

Why is ESPN televising his press conferences? Are they televising any other coaches' press conferences? Or at least the ones with winning records the last two years?

This. I never got why people hated him so much. He was funny and entertaining. His press conference is much better than the standard cliche fest. I felt the same about Spurrier in his prime at Florida.
