Your favorite artist / band that you're sure no one's ever heard of

Who should I be listening to that I've never heard of?
Mine is Derek Webb.
He started out in an early to mid-90's Christian band "Caedmon's Call" and has gone on to have a very eclectic and successful solo career (not as a Christian artist). Every album he puts out is a complete departure stylistically from the previous one. He helped start [link=(www.noisetrade.com)]NoiseTrade[/link], where you can download some of his music for free. Check him out.

He's from Shreveport, but I think (wisely) he is relocating to Nashville in the upcoming months. In my honest opinion, he's arguably the best thing to have come out of Louisiana in recent years.
