40 percent of this board was saying Vasquez was a legitimate PG to take to the finals.

Not really. I think most have been surprised and impressed with his overall play, and rightfully so. I think everyone recognizes that he has problems defending quick opposing guards. I also maintain unlike the NCAA, you don't need a phenomenal PG to win a championship. You just need a good one.

Vasquez is not a great PG; at best he is a good sub. HIs biggest problem is defense; he is terrible. When you put a 6'10 forward on a point guard because your guard cannot guard him, that speaks volumes. Hell, Kirk Heinrich tore him up the other night against Chicago.

Hinrich had 5 points, you mouth-breathing neanderthal.

Maybe with a little clarity you could realize that nobody was stopping Irving last night. The dude was on. Aminu played solid d on one possession and Irving still rained one in over him. Irving is on a high after the ASG and we happened to get thrown in the cage with that 800 pound gorilla with a chainsaw for a penis.

not really, in fact he struggled throughout most of the game. We gave him easy lanes to go through and make easy layups and give him easy steals with our shitty inbound passing.

I do not understand the perception that you need a great pg to win the finals. Look back on the past couple of pgs that won the championship...
Mario Chalmbers (is he really that much better than Gravy?)
Jason Kidd (as good as he was in NJ, in 10-11 was he great?)
Derek Fisher (really)
Derek Fisher (really)
Rajon Rondo (before he hit his prime)
Not saying Gravy is great or even all star caliber point guard but damn some people act like because he is not Kyrie Irving we wont ever make the Finals. Reality is we were spoiled with Chris Paul and seem to think that is what we NEED. We have a SF who cannot shoot outside of the paint, center position that is weak in defending, and a shooting guard because of his sprained vagina cant play back to back games. And Vasquez is the problem?

I am having fun at your expense, dishrag. Keep dancing or come up with better material. Otherwise, what use are you?
