I think it's similar to the one (may be the same) as the one on Spike. They simulate fights between the soldiers and see who is the "ultimate warrior"
They may do some real competitions between soldiers from each military.

Ace.... I've seen
SAS, the 82nd, ST 2, 4 and devgru, operating including live action and spent Nearly a month in Israel........ saw them a little too...
I got some real good looks at the 82nd when my uncle was the CO at Bragg, ironically this was whilst I was in the navy...
Knew a lot about our Soviet friends.....
Comparing SEALs to the 82nd, yeah it is apples and oranges....which one has higher fail rate?
I like a kittle applein my orange juice..
SAS, the 82nd, ST 2, 4 and devgru, operating including live action and spent Nearly a month in Israel........ saw them a little too...

I've been around all those guys as well. No special operations unit wants to tangle with an elite combat battalion. By the same token, no 82nd rifle squad wants to defend a control tower against a SEAL team. Those units have different missions, like different tools in a toolbox - hammer for nail, screwdriver for screw.
The fact that they all use guns and kill people is where the similarities end.

I was pushing a thread on the help board to try to get us a military board. Fell on deaf ears. I tried the, "For Chicken's sake, we have a soccer board" defense, but to no avail. I see multiple military threads on this board, the OT, the poliboard, even the Rant, occasionally, and I think it would be a place where we could bring all these topics together and have a central place for these threads.
I didn't see any sort of consensus. I guess next time, I need to post here and link to that thread (because, in all fairness, how often do you go to the help board? - I only went there to see if any admins would offer some support.)

Never saw a single instance where the "small" units would take on a battalion, that's a job for the intruders....

honestly, i dont know squat about the modern military,,, but i started it cause i saw the ar platform guns being used on there when i first turned it on that channel and that's what about half of what this board has discussed in the last month or so.. Anyway,, i still dont know the difference between something like this and a Duck Dynasty "in show" thread and wouldnt have started it if i knew it would have been "against the rules"...
anyway,, yall carry on...
