My optimism about the basketball team for this season was unfounded ! But the future is bright with jones as coach!
Just can't win with this team on the road against good competition !
Maybe next year with the talent coming in.

Winning on the road is hard for all teams, even the good ones. This is not a new revelation.
LSU simply doesn't have the talent and depth this year. Still have a good shot at NIT.

You seriously though this team? We don't have the depth and Johnny Jones won games with them. I still love watching this team. They couldn't help that McCrae had a once in his lifetime game and the refs called bs fouls on o'bryant.

Frighten I've been following lsu basketball probably since before you were born. I've been posting about basketball for years.
I did not say we were not good what I said was my estimate of how good we are was to high!
We will make the NIT but I thought might sweep the rest of our games.

Unfortunately , as been the case for the past six years, the mantra remains , "wait until next season. ".
I believe Johnny Jones can improve this program over the next several seasons. Hopefully , a program can be built and sustained such that home sell outs will be common in the future.
There should be no limits on the type of program that can be achieved at LSU. If Gonzaga and Butler can be relevant so can a top school like LSU.
