Excellent movie. Really well done all the way around - acting, directing, cinematography. Carey Mulligan played her character perfectly IMO. Fassbender too. Check out [director] Steve McQueen's other movie, Hunger, as well. I think it's on Netflix.
His third movie - Twelve Years a Slave - is probably my most anticipated movie of 2013.

That was a fricked up movie, but the acting and music were fantastic.

One of the most anticipated movies of my life. One of my favorite books made by a director I really like with actors I greatly respect. If I wasn't already on another movie, I probably would have tried to work on it. But given the fact that I generally don't watch the movies I work on, it's probably for the best that I didn't.

Good offering from a solid up-and-coming director. It wasn't anything earth-shattering or all that substantive, but it was a good look at a part of society that hasn't really been filmed. Fassbender is a fantastic actor.
