I'd let Sewald or a newb throw against Lamar just so we can have a full staff for the long weekend.

Glenn is going tomorrow, so he likely won't be available at all.

I really think we see Cotton go 2 or 3 innings to start and then committee it the rest of the way with a bunch of the young arms we used on Sunday.

Lamar is LSU's kryptonite.

This LSU team is the strongest I've seen since 09'.

Mainieri finally has a powerful middle lineup with speed surrounding it. Once the heat warms up as well as the bats this team could win it. Jones, Ross, and Eades are playing for draft picks this year as we're Schimpf, Mitchell, and LeMahieu in 09'.

Selu plays us hard everytime we play them. Nola will shut them down early I think. Joey B. had some quality starts his freshman year early. He had a whole year under his belt to recover. I would pt him out there thursday but with only a 60 pitch count to see how he feels against BYU. If he gets us 4 good innings and feels ok, let him go 5 and get the win. We could use Berry and Lamarche (spelling might be wrong) out the pin if needed. Cotton closes when needed. Bonvillan can come out pen on Saturday to get his reps.

fire somebody !!

Looking at the end of week forecast, any chance they might just make it a Fri,Sat,Sun series? Or does BYU have some kind of travel restrictions?

I'm not sure why everyone in this thread is just assuming Nola against SELU. I tend to think it will be Eades. What did Nola throw? 70 pitches? And he'll be on 5 days rest. That really isnt a big deal at all.

Not to mention if you leave Nola and Eades on Friday and Saturday you've killed Bonvillains chances of getting another start pre-conference. Which he desperately needs.

BYU doesnt play on Sundays the same way Chick-fil-a isnt open. Mormons and baptists.....

So we can blame BYU for having this dumb schedule this weekend.
