Yes, but by a team overflowing with outfield and pitching talent. Had he been at catcher, SS, 2B, or 1B he'd be in the lineup with his offensive tools. I thought when he was drafted the Rays weren't a good fit. Mahtook will make it. It probably will not be as soon as he'd like and definitely will not be in a Rays jersey.
