my senior research paper was on big E and i did about 3 speeches on him freshman year of college. he's the reason i got interested in nascar

Yeah...it doesnt seem like that long. I still remember exactly where I was when I found out he died.I still follow it closely but Nascar has never been the same.Tony Stewart is the closest thing to that Intimidator personality.

It was stunned when I heard the news. There was nothing like that black #3 stalking through the pack. After he died I lost interest in NASCAR.

There are pictures online showing the inside of his car after the wreck. Not pretty. Part of me still thinks there some information was withheld about the cause of his death. The broken seatbelt theory just seemed too convenient.

I have seen this crash so many times. I still can't wrap my head around how this was a fatal accident. We have all seen so many worse accidents before and since that the guy walked away from.

Just such an odd situation.

I don't see what's so hard to understand. If you go from 160mph to 0,instantly, something bad will happen. No hans device played a big part as well. Yes we have seen very hard hits over the years, I agree. This one may have been, for lack of a better term, the "perfect" impact
