I didn't attend any of those games but to me that whole season was even more hellish than this past season was. At least this season you could see light at the end of the tunnel. Back then, you didn't even know if the tunnel wasn't getting ready to collapse and take all of it's detriment to San Antonio.

Pretty good summary there. I was still young back then (I'm 21) i remember was made fun of in school those years for being a saints fan, Especially 05. Which made it so much sweeter in 2006.

But like the poster said, we had no clue what would happen after that year. I vowed to never watch football again if we moved to SA. This season, I was just ready to get it over with because we knew we just had to get through & we'd have our leader back.

Here's to the Golden years.

I was at the Dolphins game. We camped out all weekend and went to both games.

Never Again Weekend.

Yeah, the Dolphins game was terrible. I remember seeing a lot of people making paper planes and throwing them which seemed more entertaining than the game which is sad.

I was at all 4. To say it was painful would be the understatement of a lifetime.

Went to dolphins game. Sat right behind saints bench. We had a good time even though the game and team sucked gorilla balls. I found out my wife was pregnant with # 3 of 5 that day.

I went to a couple of those games. I remember being crazy excited about seeing the saints in t.s. but man was I disappointed. The first game was the worst with the racy lines. It was like benson wanted it to suck.

To all that went to dolphins game (I went to dolphins and bears) do you remember the paper airplanes galore made by the programs?

Tons of us were making them and throwing them towards the field. The closer they got, the planes got cheers.

Mine got almost to the field from way up and the whole time the crowd cheered louder and louder. That was more exciting than the games themselves.

ETA: sorry whodatfan i didnt read the second page before I posted that.

The airplanes were funny.

I bought tickets for all the games but only made it to the dolphins game. It was cool being able to buy beer at TS.

No matter where he plays.

Much like Berg, I was excited to see the Saints play in T.S. too. Drove my family from Greenville SC to Tampa game. Long enough drive as it was, but then NFL changed start time to 3:00. Lost the game, and then was 3 hours later driving back for work on Monday.

I think it was the Tampa game I made it. Couldn't have been more than 5,000 people.

I remember waiting in line to get a beer only to find out that they only had Budweiser and they pulled the plastic longneck out of a room temperature cardboard box and handed it to me. Yeah, I still drank it.

I went to all 4 in the stadium. Sat about 5 rows from the top of the east upper deck.

I went to Dolphin game. I saw the Tom Benson incident first hand. Curmudgeon has done a 180 in my eyes.

I was there too. Lil Nicky's first return to Tiger stadium. I think the Saints lost like 13-6. It was a terrible game. There were so few people there during the last quarter that we walked onto the sideline in the south endzone for the last 10 minutes.
