She'll just crash anyway.

Pole may be the most the overrated thing in sports

At a place like Daytona or Talladega, it is overrated. While you can go straight from the front to the back in a half a lap at any race track, at these two you can go right back to the front in another half a lap....you go to the back in a place like martinsville or Dover or Bristol, you statistically have a better chance of wrecking than going from 1st to 35th and back to 1st...you never see it happen...

I'm heading down to Daytona from st. Augustine Thursday...if she manages to do well, I plan on trying to get her in the mood.

I really do find it odd though...her fans are quick to defend her and say she is loaded with talen...if she's so talented, how has she only won 1 race in her entire pro career that spans about 6 or 7 different series?

Won't matter. She'll wreck in the duels and the 500. It's a shame that she gets a full time ride in top of the line equipment without accomplishing squat.

Maybe when there used to be 3 & 4-wide pack racing. It's not the same anymore. If you drop to the back it'll take laps and help to get back to the front.

Restrictor plate track. Doesn't really count in my book.

Does anyone think this is just a plot by NASCAR to beef up ratings after the last couple 500 debacles?

They probably let her get away with some cheating to gain a few extra hp

No more Danica pole sitting jokes? C'mon I rattled off like 10

I heard she put down rubber before sitting on that pole

No.

People watch the Daytona 500 as it's probably the second biggest event in all of motor racing.

5 of the top 6 qualifiers had Hendrick motors. Really wish he'd quit selling motors to Stewart-Haas.

I just did a promo spot with her and was shocked how small she was. Maybe .. maybe 5'0" tall.

Dale Jr was smaller than i expected as well

Most drivers are really short in person. Greg Biffle is listed at 5'9", but I've stood next to him and he was at most 5'7".

They have just been feeling these cars out...they'll get the hang of it and you'll see it more. Most of them just don't want to wreck anymore cars this week
