Personally, I prefer PieWorks (Shreveport) to Johnny's.
Pie Works is the shite too. Both of those could rival any pizza joint in BR.
Johnny's in BR is a franchise joke so I wouldn't count that.
Red Zeppelin is pretty good too I'll add that.
Also Theo's and Domenica in NOLA are delicious.

My favorite is Tommy's Pizza in Hammond

Ancora. Only certified Neapolitan pizza in the state, I believe...
False
Franks in Shreveport is Neapolitan certified

Ancora is very good in New Orleans. So is Moe's in westwego but two totally different styles.
I need to try some more places in New Orleans though. Seems that a good bit more of them have popped up in the last few years.

Ancora, Mama Della's... Red Zepplin, Deanos... the rest...
The love for Pizza Village and Fleur de Lis floors me. I avoid both whenever humanly possible.

Johnny's is one step up from Chuck E. Cheese.

In the BR area, I agree that Mama Dellas and Roma are the best. That's not really saying much, though.
And while I do enjoy West Main Pizza in Thibodaux/Houma, their prices are ridiculous. $40-$50 for a large specialty pizza? GTFO.

Beaudoin's in natchitoches
In Natchitoches, nothing will ever compare with Duty's Pizza. Long gone, probably along with Russell Duty.
What the frick is it, by the way, with this Johnny's bullshite?

I love pizza and have eaten at almost every place in the New Orleans area but I can't pick one place that is better than the rest. I can say that I got a slice at Moe's on the westbank and it was average. I also had the worst pizza experience of my life at Domenica when they served me soggy pizza that was inedible ( but I would give Domenica another try)

All you who have only had Johnny's in BR need to keep quiet about it, that's like saying redheads are disgusting when the only one you've ever seen is Kathy Griffin
