I am a huge fan of the office. I keep hearing a lot about parks and rec. Thinking of starting it on Netflix. Input? Thanks

Right now Parks is better than The Office. Last weeks episode of The office was funnier than last week's Parks, and its been awhile since that happened. But I'd say, Office at its best is better than Parks at it's best

At this point yea. But compare the first 4 seasons I give office the edge.

If you're a fan of the first four seasons of The Office, you won't be disappointed with Parks and Rec. It isn't even close to being as awkward but it's just as funny, IMO.

Parks and Rec IS The Office. Let's be honest here.

Give parks some time. It takes alittle while to love it

Ron Swanson is one of best characters ever

Yeah. Parks is better as a whole, but office in its prime is one of the best comedy shows out there.

Well if they would have ended it when Michael left it would be different. People just have current office in their mind so they think parks is better. If parks went 10 seasons and Ron or Leslie left they it would be the exact same thing

At its best, The Office was better. Parks and Rec is better now.

Much like The Office, season 1 starts off a bit slowly and has its funny moments but it definitely picks up in season 2.

It also has the same "documentary" style and talking heads but it's filmed for the audience's perspective rather than a documentary crew, which I think has worked in the show's favor.
