Anyone think OBJ would make a better NFL CB than WR?

I know he hasn't been in a great offense yet, but judging him to this point, would he be smarter to make the move?
He seems to have all of the athletic tools to do so.

not fast enough. maybe a safety

The guy is clearly an offensive player. He has great instincts with the ball in his hands.

no.
He reminds me of an inconsistent Josh Reed.

Too small to be safety maybe cb. Love to see him as nickelback

As I read your post OP I think u may be onto something. But its probably too late at this point.
He's plenty good at WR and I would think a change in position would be a desperation move for him in the pro's.

Keep that white woman lover at WR

Too sharp of a route runner to take him away from wr.

If he just plays slot for the rest of his career he will be fine. He is just not #1 receiver at LSU or the NFL.
IMO if OBJ reaches his full potential, he could be similar to Lance Moore of the Saints. A hell of a receiver and athlete but not a true #1

Would have been a good move when he came in as a freshman. Probably to late now as far as college goes (maybe can make the switch after leaving LSU). Doesn't have good enough hands and doesn't seem to be a natural WR. I said the same thing about Joe McKnght when he came out of high school. OBJ has plenty enough speed to play CB for whoever said he doesn't. Probably would have been a much better CB than WR IMO.

It worked for Richard Sherman. He started off as a receiver at Stanford and then moved to cornerback...and now he is one of the best corner's in the league.

yes he does, on both counts. calm down kids, sometimes WRs suffer bouts with the dropsies. he seemed to solve that over the back half of the season.
