Dont act like lack of run production wasn't our downfall last year

My bad, my response was meant to the OP and not your question. I am also curious about your question. I assume whole season

Its one game, but I'm pretty sure you're just trolling.

Fridays are the lowest hit days because that is often their ace pitcher.
Run production did suck today but a better indicator of what the future holds would be to look at the batting average. Does anyone know what the team batting average was in the friday game?

Best would be OBP+Slugging.
Seriously though, its tough to draw conclusions from one game. That's what makes baseball great.

I don't know how you manage to not get banned, but I'm glad you don't.

I actually though we had some decent swings on the ball tonight, but by all means go ahead and bitch away.

What the hell is the problem for some of you? The Tigers won the game and significantly cut down on our strikeouts. They put the ball in play, hits will come with time. If the pitching continues to be this solid 1 run is all we need. It's the first freaking game.

Our approach at the plate was good IMO. The early season/cold weather/ace thing really got us. Lot of timely double plays. But I know no one wants to hear any of that.

A better indicator would be to wait until the team has at least played 6 games.
