I hate the tomb of the giants. I can't even get to the bonfire

should you focus on either strength or dexterity or try to level the board across evenly?
i have made 1 guy, lvl 31, but i feel like he sucks because:
a) i have no magic whatsoever, no pyromancy
b) all my skill points are around 20
c) ive upped my winged spear to a magic winged spear and my crass shield to a magic crass shield but dont know how to up it further

One of he best games in the past 10 years. I have it on ps3 vestansan is my id.
Personally I've found you either go strength or Dex and find a weapon that uses that trait. I went Dex and played most of the game with Quelags Furyblade.

Put you white sign sandstone down and u can join people. You have to be human to bring someone in. U can have 2 people join u

I'll get in the low 70s later today. I've kind of hit a wall on upgrading things until I find out where to farm twinkling titanite.
Are you on play through one? I assume a player of an equal level that is on a different play through cannot co-op with the player.

Things that scale off of dex. Things I've found are rapiers, scythes

The bandits knife is a good one for parries. I prefer the scythe.
I've been working on parries. They are absolutely devastating pve or pvP when done right, and should probably be at the core of any dex build.

Ed, I'm on playthrough 1.
For the a-hole that called me a puss, Tomb of Giants is dark. I didn't know to use the skull latern to see. I either fell off a ledge or was killed by the skeletons. I didn't know the bonfire was just around the corner. Once I realized that, it was easy.

Queslag Furyblade (sp?) is good for DEX or katanas. Katanas aren't durable though. Only 80.
