Always said if I were starting a franchise I'd take Magic. The all-around utility player who made everyone better to build around.

In this instance, I'd probably lean toward LeBron.

He dragged a pretty sorry Cavs team to the Finals and Eastern Conf - and all their other playoff series.

Notice that most of Lebron's supporters so far are selecting Shaq over Lebron. I wonder if Unknownknight would select Shaq over Kobe. Probably not.

Are Lakers fans still bitter toward Shaq?

LeBron still hasn't hit his prime yet, so when he does I'll let you know.

Also since Shaq's career is now over, you can look back and see that his prime wasn't that long,
What was his "prime" though?

He played at a hall of fame level from the day he got to the league.

He's 28 and has spent 10 years in the NBA. When will he hit his prime?

Id want Lebron, but its close. I just feel he makes everyone better.

It took him a while to get his ring, but he played with shite teammates, won 60 games yearly, and took them to the Conf Finals & NBA finals. And he was like 22.

I get that.

Like I said, it depends on what you value on the court. If I'm a coach, I want second chance points (so, rebounds) and a player that shoots a high percentage shot. By definition, that is almost always the Center Position.

Shaq did what he wanted. There was no discussion.

Give me Shaq in his prime, and I'm winning championships with Sebastian Telfair as PG.

You probably thinking Kobe dragging this Lakers team to a 25-29 record is super impressive, so...

I'm 100% certain you've been saying on this board that Lebron has hit his prime and wouldn't get better for a couple of seasons now, and yet you're laughing at this guy?

Par for the course.

Oh the good ole' prime Shaq days, Nothing more hilarious to watch him take 4 dribbles to back his man down and just dunk the shite out of him.
