I turned off my console last night with 11,600 or so kills and a 1.93 K/D playing strictly hardcore team deathmatch.
I just got on and my leaderboard stats show 4900 or so kills with 4800 or so deaths and a 1.01 K/D.
I go to career, and it still shows 11,600+ kills and a 1.93 K/D.
Also, my score per minute career is 142, and these new stats show 192.
WTF is going on? Is this what they call a hack? And, if so, how do you go about finding out who did it, etc.
Any way to correct this?

Wouldn't know where to begin, or how to do it.
I have 2 kids who play on their own accounts, but they have never played on mine. And I keep up with my stats every time I play.

Can somebody explain what you mean by hacks?
COD:BO2 is the first online shooting game i've ever really been into and it's also the first time I've used Xboxlive.

Is this something that is done by Xbox?
I honestly have never so much as played with anyone who had any kind of device, controller, etc., and I've never did what my kids call boosting.

They would do this to an account without notification, or can someone else access your account some way?

idk dude, are your stats that important to you? It's probably just glitched and will be fixed the next time you start up the game. That shite happens all the time.

reset your stats when you prestige next time, it will bring your stats back to where they were pre-scrw up. You were hacked.

I've never prestiged. I don't see the point.
How would I go about finding out how and who "hacked" me.

I dont think you were hacked. If it;s there next time, maybe. But I still wouldnt care so much about your COD stats especially if all you do is camp.
