Who should be accountable for scheduling so few basketball game this year? Is it Trent or someone else in the athletic department? If they wouldn't have been so lazy and actually put some work into scheduling 2 or 3 more pretty easy games we could have a shot to sneak into the ncaa tournament without having to win the sec tourney. For the rpi, wins count for a lot. Doesn't matter who they are against.

Which is why you should play garbage teams on the ROAD.

two more wins against southeastern la and grambling wouldn't help us much. stumbling out the gate in sec play really hurts us but let's see if we can keep this momentum going. and yea much of the schedule was trent johnson.

But two more wins would get us real close to the 20 win mark, which for whatever reason, is the arbitrary number necessary to be considered a successful season.

yea 20 is good on the eyes. don't think it would offset those losses to uga, aub and s.c. unless we get really really hot. im just holding out hope we finish in the top 6 which, if you would have told me over the summer would be a realistic possibility in mid-february, i would have called you crazy.

This season's OOC schedule is fully 100% on Trent Johnson. I don't blame CJJ one bit for the schedule this year and I fully expect next seasons schedule to be very different.

Consider that schedule trent's parting "gift" to the program

Definitely not johnny jones fault. I expect to see a great non-conference schedule next year, including some big name teams. Its really is amazing just how lazy trent was in everything he did involving lsu basketball. Im sure there are others in the athletic department who are to blame too though.

Some extra wins over average teams would have us alot higher in the rpi. Just look at ole miss.

It's Trent.
I feel like he was bailing on LSU towards the end of the season and didn't have our best interests at heart. His focus was elsewhere.

It would have helped us, even if only in terms of practice games, to have had a couple more games, no matter what level of opponent. A new coach, new players - they would have benefitted from more games.

At least one more at the PMAC.

LSU never plays a lot of games in Novemer and December. We played 2 or 3 less than some
SEC teams. It's bullshite.
