Pronounced Alec Box or Alex Box?

Wasn't Alec Box the way his name was pronounced? Either way, it isn't really that important.

As much as I hate to admit Hawthorne is right, Alec is the correct pronunciation

I'm baffled by the fact that it isn't Skip Bertman Stadium. I know box was a war hero, make it the Alec box field at skip Bertman stadium

You honestly feel a street that the stadium isn't even on anymore is a good enough memorial to the guy who won 5 titles for LSU in baseball? Think about that. FIVE frickIN COLLEGE WORLD SERIES TITLEs in 10 YEARS

Bertman will get plenty of recognition when the time comes...he knows it, we as fans know it

I know he's a huge donor, but T. Boone Pickens isn't dead and has Oklahoma State's football field named after him.

You are right though. Also, I would find it kind of eery sitting in a stadium named after you
