I probably wouldn't take the trade on the OP

From the article I read about Houston being interested in Gordon and moving Harden to SF, that opens up Parsons as a possibility

If we can get something like Parsons, Montiejunas, and Toney Douglas for Gordon and a 2nd round pick or another player, I'm all about it

Parsons starting at SF, Aminu off the bench, Parsons with the fricking great contract. And then Douglas as a back up combo guard and then develop Montiejunas as a back up off the bench PF/C.

For my perspective, that's about the best we're gonna get for it, atleast right now. But I'm no trade/contract expert, so I dunno if something like that is actually realistic.

there is absolutely nothing on houston's roster worth an ego trade. even harden's moneys are a big no-no for a young team tryin to do things. i like parsons & montiejunas but houston would have to bring in a third team like sac/cousins or philly/bynum for us to give up ego.

I really doubt that

If anything what I proposed would probably be way too much for Houston to give up for Gordon

Also, according to Hollinger's numbers, that would improve our projected wins by 6.

...

ok ok...

How in the frick is Lebron only a 6 game improvement over Eric Gordon. I mean I like EG, but Lebron is the most dominant player in the league right now.

The Pelicans would be stuck in mediocrity for the next 7 years if they did that trade
