If Demps still wants Rondo, Boston makes a hell of a lot of sense.

Man what is with this board?

First it was Granger, now it's Rondo. No thanks.

I say we make a trade for someone who hasn't had a major knee injury recently

It's like we're gluttons for the punishment of having a bad, constantly injured team or something

With Golden State likely headed to their sixth straight loss tonight and slipping in the standings, they might be motivated to make the move.

Gordon and Lance Thomas for Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, and Richard Jefferson.

If there is a third team bringing something back to NO, yes. Otherwise the Celtics don't have the assets to get Gordon and Vasquez.

Make another move for Vasquez this summer.

I don't know if I would do a Rondo/Gordon swap. Just know that he was a target during the Paul sweepstakes and Boston needs help now with Pierce/Garnett

but why grab Rondo when our problem isn't really at PG? We need a legit scoring 3, and back up Gs.

Gravy can run this team, but we need a more pieces. I am not against moving EG. I personally think he is a bloody tampon and a cancer. If we are gonna move him, we need to figure out what we want.

Do we want a legit 5? There are few of those in the NBA, much less one that would be available.

Do we want another 2? If we want another 2, why move the cornerstone?

Can we land a legit 3? If we can do this, and target an adequate 2 in the draft and or FA, I am all for it.

I really think we should move EG for klay and whatever else they're offering and find someone else to offer a Max deal to in the upcoming offseason and make them turn us down. We have room for 2 max deals correct?

Cp3/Gravy
Klay T/Gravy/FA
Otto Porter/Anderson
Davis/Smith
Lopez/Smith/FA

We need to press for CP hard, I know it's unlikely, but we at least have to try

WTF is this, Madden?

Dude, we aren't gonna make those moves. Our best bet is to build this one piece at a time, much like the Thunder did, and make sure all the pieces mesh. If EG is not a part of the plan, then move his bitch arse. If he is, let's just deal with it and look at who can help at the 3, the 5, and back up 1/2.

If Gordon plays against the Cavs it's to showcase him and that should mean a trade will happen Thursday.

Hopeful it's with Golden State I really like Klay Thompson

Gordon is sitting.

quote:

Eric Gordon, who scored 20 points on Tuesday, doesn't sound likely to play on Wednesday against Cleveland as trade rumors swirl, while he also is looking at a back-to-back situation with his troublesome knee.
Sam Amico is reporting that Gordon will likely be held out tonight as a potential trade to the Warriors is worked out, while we already suggested that Gordon might not play in the second night of a back-to-back because of his knee

I didn't know the Warriors trade talk was that serious. I like Thompson, but trading for him means we have to take on either Jefferson or Biedrins, who are both terrible and make $11m and $9m next year, respectively.

No way this trade happens. If it does, I would think they would play him at SF, give Rivers minutes at the 2, and address G in the draft and FA.

You don't have to play anyone at the 3. The Warrior's 3 guard rotation of Curry,Jack, and Klay has worked fine for them.

Plenty of guard minutes to go around.

I wouldn't take anything less from the Warriors than Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes. Take RJ with them and throw them Aminu.

If not, hold on to him until the summer

We need a 3. Why trade a 2 for a 2?
