Well, this will get bumped to the poli-board, but Drudge has this link: MO Bill for 90 days to turn in guns.

Not sure how well this is going to go over. I thought the Republican party was finished after this Romney election...but the Dems insist on hanging themselves over guns. Go Figure???

Edit: Cpt Bengal has similar thread on Poli Board.

Yeah i think MO on a whole is pretty pro-gun. Probably some futile attempt to get some publicity. Heaven help this country if anything gets passed like this especially on a large scale.

It won't pass but now there's precedent. This is how it starts. It's just one little step at a time to get people comfortable with being disarmed.

You are spot on. Full confiscation will not happen in my lifetime (I'm 47), but I fear it will at least be attempted in the next 40 years. They will slowly take away ALL our freedoms, not just guns

May have a chance passing in Commiefornia. No way it'll pass in MO though.

Looks like Dems are in a race to see who can say they are toughest on guns.

I've always liked to consider myself a live and let live type person, to each his own, etc...
But I am developing a cold, black hate that is digging into a deep place in my heart for certain politicians and uninformed get on the bandwagon types in my country.

Completely agree dude.

Check out this video. This guy clearly states something I never really realized before. In the first minute or so, he says all these things.

The quote that really stuck out to me:

"Your own history is replete with high school rifle teams, boy scout marksmanship merit badges. You could buy rifles at hardware stores. You could order them, mail order them, to your home. Your country was awash with readily available firearms and ammunition. And yet, in your past, you did not have mass school shootings. Other people have already expressed the question, 'What changed?'. It's not that the availability of guns suddenly exploded or increased, it actually was decreased. What was changed was societal decay."

Not even a buy back. Just give it to our cops for their use.
