Not bad, but the headliners (so far) aren't up to par with last year IMO. Hard to beat RHCP and DMB.

I'm pretty excited about Bassnectar though.

Yea those are two good bands on the list. Too bad they will be starting around 3:30 and ending at 5:30-6

That time slot can actually be really good with the sunset

For 1 or 2 bands sure. Really loved the crowes and UM's sets at sunset, but since there are only about 8 or 9 bands there I would actually like to see, I'd rather not see EVERY band I like at sunset. A night show would be nice. You know, when it's not 90 degrees

I thought the sunset slot was the best of the whole festival. I'm praying the shins get put right there.

Like I said, its nice. One of my best festival experiences ever is riding the Ferris wheel at sunset and watching the crowes show.

Now, since the Ferris wheel will likely have a half mile line at sunset, I probably won't do that again

Just saying, it would e nice to see a couple of the bands I like at night. Hell, maybe even close one night

Also, anybody know if Modest Mouse might be added? Their tour is mostly festivals and they seem to have a pretty big gap around hangout.

Solid line up, although I can't stand Kings of Leon.

I kind of expected to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs since they have a new album come out. They probably aren't popular enough to be the third headliner. I would be happy with Mumford and Sons.

Looking forward to:
The Shins
Passion Pit
Tom Petty
Grouplove (Bummed I missed them at HOB last year)
Public Enemy

Will probably enjoy:
Bassnectar (Heard they put on great shows)
Ellie Goulding (not bad for a chick pop singer)
The Roots

Don't really care about:
Trey Anastasio Band
The Black Crowes

I'm sure they are, I'm just kinda burned out on them. Very similar to the way I'm burned out on Mumford. I'm definitely more excited for Tom Petty and a few of the 2nd tier bands

This is a great lineup. I'm not sure what people are bitching about..

What bands do they want to see?

Well, we have different music taste. To be fair, I did list a few other bands as the ones I am really looking forward to, but you chose my list of bands/artists where I don't really know their catalog but will check out.

I will check out the black crowes, but am not necessarily excited to see them. I will probably avoid Trey Anastasio as I am not into jam bands.

I also did mention in my post how much I think Kings of Leon sucks.

I think people are just saying meh because there still isn't a 3rd headliner yet.

Tom petty and KOL just do nothing for me as headliners. No matter who the 3rd headliner is it won't outweigh those to very lackluster bookings.

It's not a terrible lineup..... It's just meh
