Several days now and yet no presser? What gives?

Either I'm blind, deaf, or dumb but I have not seen nor heard from our newly acquired DC. Sooooo.......

They did have a small presser announcing it officially. I can't remember what day. Both Payton and Ryan spoke.

This is all I could find from the saints website. I was really wanting a video press conference, don't guess that has happened.

A nine-year veteran as a defensive coordinator, Ryan joins New Orleans after spending the last two seasons running the defense of the Dallas Cowboys. Under his tutelage in 2011, Dallas’ team defense improved to 14th overall in the NFL after finishing 23rd in 2010, ranking seventh against the run. In 2012, the Cowboys were one of only three teams in the NFL to have two players with 11 or more sacks, as LB DeMarcus Ware led the team with 11.5 and LB Anthony Spencer posted a career-high 11 takedowns. Both players were selected to the Pro Bowl. Cowboys opponents were held to a 43.9 % third down conversion rate, ranked tenth in the NFL, despite an influx of injuries at several key positions throughout the course of the season. In Ryan’s first season with the Cowboys, Ware finished second in the NFL with 19.5 sacks.

Yeah, I just find it odd. Usually with a hire like DC, the press get their time as usual. Something a bit strange here.

Christalmighty. Just another example of why it sucks until September (except for the draft that makes the board decent for maybe two or three days).

Sorry I asked a relevant question about a relevant current event on the proper board. Stop being such a pussy about it. It's a dead period before cuts and the draft which we have already beaten to death. You don't like it, exit stage left.

Back when the whole "media restriction" report came out, they mentioned that they hadn't even drawn up a contract yet. While I'm assuming that is done by now, that may be the reason.
