There's 3 that I would really consider my favorites, but if picking just one...

Abita Oyster Stout

Other two I like pretty much equally:

NOLA Blonde
LA 31 Acadie

Read on their Facebook page that they're going to start making it year round.
And canning

I'm just talking about for the time being.

That Irish Channel stout is great. I'm also partial to the Abita Vanilla Double Dog which is rarely mentioned on these pages.

That's fair, I'm admittedly new to beer and just curious what others thought on the DD.

I had the St. Arnold Winter Stout this weekend and couldn't finish. Way too bitter on the finish.

if you liked Abita Vanilla Doubledog, try Breckenridge Vanilla porter.

Not sure if Breckenridge distributes to Louisiana yet (they didn't 6 months ago when I moved away) but you can pick some up if you ever come to Texas.

I've never seen them in the Lafayette area. Would love to be able to buy some Small Batch 471 around here.

My favorite LA beer(s)... wait, isn't tetu holding a tournament to determine this

The search option is not a strong point of this message board. I honestly thought about doing a tournament myself, I will definitely participate in that thread now.

Well, I love Louisiana beer and I always try to support our local brewers.

Some of my favorites in no order:

1 - Abita Pecan

2 - Abita SOS

3 - Abita Oyster Stout (on tap)

4 - Abita Turbo Dog

5 - NOLA Hopitoulas

6 - NOLA Irish Channel Stout

7 - Bayou Teche Courir de Mardi Gras

My favorite Louisiana brew of all time is the now extinct Rikenjaks Old Hardhead. That was a great beer! Wish it was still produced.

I also enjoyed the beers from Acadian Brewing which is now closed. Both from the mid 90's.
