Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 scope

I got an add in the paper today from Cabela's and they have a Zeiss Conquest 3-9X40 for $299. It's orginally $499. Is this a good scope?? Im thinking about getting it and putting it on my .270
I've always wanted a Zeiss and this sounds like a good deal for a great scope.

I have the 4.5-14-50 and it is the best scope I have ever used. Insane how sharp everything is. Great glass.
