I'm not trying to win. I just want the dark stuff. 15-20 giants mix of archers/goblins BK and BQ with WB's on the lower corner DE storage and I gaurantee with 2-3 rage spells I'd get all of it.

I won my first defense last night
They got 100k of each but I got 32 trophies

It's been my downfall, the bases with the resources you don't want to attack unless you have the right troops. I settle for 100-150k bases instead of those 200+ ones

Why don't you try switching your DE with your town hall... Make them have to destroy the TH before they can get to your DE. This will also allow your defenses to work on them while they are focused on the TH.
eta TH 9 sucks until you get both xbows,queen and level 6 troops. Then it's very good.
