In that same article:

Reed Johnson, who will begin the season as the Braves' fourth outfielder, arrived in camp in time to take batting practice with the starting outfielders -- Jason Heyward, B.J. Upton and Justin Upton -- on Wednesday. Johnson and his family drove 30-plus hours from his home in the Las Vegas area.

How young is this team? With anybody but Hudson on the mound, they're bound to be the youngest starting 9 in the league. Is Uggla the only position player/starter over 30?

JHey, Freeman, and Simmons are all 23. J-Up and Francrisco are 25. BJ, Mac, and Johnson are 28. So yeah, we are really, really young.

The Braves are confident that these moves have positioned them to be a legitimate World Series contender each of the next few seasons.
"We're not done," McGuirk said. "We're all about improving this team every step of the way and every chance that we can. We intend to be at this level for a long time.
"Money is not going to stand between us and getting it done at this point because we are that close. I'm talking about [the] long term and short term. I'm talking about talent that is here and talent that isn't here. When we are this close, we are going to try to push it over the top. But there is a lot of talent here."
Cmon down Mr. Headley.

Added the TV Schedule (to date) to the OP. Looks like I'll be able to watch 6 games. Hopefully the Braves add a few games on FSN South and SportSouth like they usually do.

Showing up Saturday. Buster Olney has been all over the radio today making comments about how he wouldn't be surprised to see Chipper back in a Braves uniform at some point this year.
