pretty familiar with the 80's stuff, and obviously Violator is one of the greatest albums of it's time, but what about the the newer stuff? i havent heard all that much.

In Your Room is Depeche's finest moment in the studio in my opinion.

So you liking the new single Heaven? Has a lot of elements of what you liked with Condemnation and GRWM.

No leaks yet..I may pass on the leaks for this album

Owlle Remix of Heaven could have been PERFECT had she used the full vocals.

But she definitely gave a new dimension to the song. She pretty much turned the original chorus part into a bridge section. Very well done remix.

Legit WYHI???

My choice.

Although the video for "Wrong" is one of my all-time faves. Twisted and awesome.

Next month marks the 20th anniversary of that album release!

Holy crap I'm old. I bought the CD at Sound Warehouse on Florida Blvd.

New album is pretty below avg IMO. I'm a huge DM fan, so I set a very high standard for them.

They need Alan Wilder back.

I agree too, but there last couple of albums have been nothing to sneeze at.

I would say I enjoy everything but Exciter, since Violator. I was kind of hoping they would continue on the trend of Playing the Angel, but Sounds of the Universe isn't too terrible, just a little too slow. But again, not on Exciter levels.

Oh and "In Your Room", definitely a great track, as is "Rush", which I see no one mentioned. And "Higher Love". Oh and for b-sides, "My Joy" used to be my favorite. The only cd single I ever purchased.
