I love the "Defense can't get any worse" comments I'm seeing. That's the spirit.

Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Brees throw 5 or 6 picks against this guy's Cleveland defense a few years ago?

I don't give a shite if this guy is fatter than Bruce Bruce

Can the guy coach or not?

Yeah, it was one of his worst games, but he was also hiding an MCL injury I believe, and he really couldn't step into his throws.

Yes, he can coach. Probably the best available candidate for the job. Key word is "available."

We won a super bowl and we play the best with a fat, loudmouthed, arrogant, clown of a DC. an opposite of CSP if you will.

I for one am excited.

Game fricking on.

Well...what's all the bitching for?

We know we don't need a top 5 defense to win

We need substantial improvement and I think that's what we'll get

He has a pretty good resume and he has produced great results as a position coach in both the secondary and linebacker positions

And he has had success (albeit to a lesser extent) as a coordinator as well

We need to get some talent on the field and I think he'll be fine

1. He's fat. So the idiotic OT mentality comes out when a fat person is showcased.

2. People fall in love with positional and college coaches and just assume they will be some hidden gem, kind of like Payton.

Right. He's a coach. A lot of coaches are fat.

If you're trying to tell me that a lot of Saints fans are stupid, save your breath. I know that already.

I think we should all get behind it. There's nothing we can do, we should at least give him a chance. I trust Sean Payton and this is his first major decision since being reinstated.

thanks for contributing a quality post to the thread.

if sean and loomis believe he's the man for the job, then i trust them. he doesn't have to do much to be better than what they had last year.
