Dude, "the wizard" has never been able to develop QB's, anywhere he's been. And defenses coordinators figure him out quickly...which is why Crowton's second season is always worse than his first.

The Oregon fans tried to tell us that...they were proved right. The Maryland fans wouldn't listen to us...we were proved right. Crowton failed miserably at Maryland, made an all-ACC QB worse, and was transferred to an admin position.

"The Wizard" moniker is a sick joke.

Because his offensive playcalling was just plain awful. Getting rid of him was the best thing Baltimore did for themselves.

He had success with Rattay back in late '90s, but he was pretty hot from the get-go as a JC transfer.
I recall Rattay beat bama twice at Bryant, and one of those years LSU lost to gumps.
Embarrassing it was.
