Simply put, Cameron didn't work with Flacco or the offense. It was HIS way, not open to suggestions, and his offense became VERY predictable and very stagnant. If you have questions with his leadership, just look at how quickly he lost the Dolphins. They almost went 0-16 the year before the Lions did. Control freak with Mike Martz stubborn streak and ego to match. Maybe his style will work better with college age kids/young adults, but it damn sure didn't work with mature grown adults who knew better.

Sounds like a similar NFL experience of a current SEC coach!

Pigary you just made that story up! He was extremely successful at the ravens And was fired in week 14
They used his O to win the Super Bowl !

Drew Brees said he was instrument in his development as a qb so does rivers so does flaco

He had a big fight with coach in front of the players which is just what we need so Les will let him run the O !!!!

The Ravens lost two of their final three games of the regular season after Cameron was let go, but then went on their four-game run to the Super Bowl title.

There can be only one HC on any team and if you disrespect that HC in a significant way in front of the team, your arse is gonna be on the outside looking in pretty damn quick.

Hopefully, if this is the reason for his firing, he has learned his lesson and I can understand Harbaugh's displeasure with having to make that decision.

He implemented a shity offense and they lost to the redskins and he was fired. A two QB system that didn't work. This hire is all about miles and les about Cameron. Cameron is his friend and Miles will be able to maintain total control over the offense. Everybody bitched about the complicated offenses the wizard put together when he was the OC and he was fired. But remember this we won a national championship with the wizard. The real problem after the 2007 season was our QB's were to stupid to learn the wizards offense and couldn't execute the game plan. Result: miles got the heat and the wizard was fired. End result: we ended up with coaching friends of miles and an 8th grad offense controlled by Miles. So what have we learned through out the arduous process. Don't hire your friends as assistant coaches and recruit OB's with some brains.

Did anyone not notice the credit Harbaugh has given Cameron after winning the SB?

I have no source but really think it was a calculated move by Harbaugh to send a wake up call throughout his entire team. He was rolling the dice at a point in the season when winning teams never fire coordinators. He knew he had an experienced veteran coach on staff in Caldwell that could step into that OC position. And it worked. Gutsy move.

The answer im hearing is he and Flacco were having issues. QB always wins that one everytime. So he is either a real stand up guy or made a poor decision, getting on the QB nerves. Also John Harbaugh wanted to run the ball more, was the final straw, Im hearing. Im not really sure about the whole thing.
With that being said, I really dont care why he got fired Im just glad he's a Tiger.
he workd for John Harbaugh for 5 yrs and harbaugh says firing him was the hardest decision hes ever made as a HC. He also made sure that Cam got a SB ring, which I think is very classy and says something about the respect harbaugh has for Cam.
If he worked for Harbaugh for 5 yrs as a OC that
says alot about this guy.
LSU needed a NFL fresh look as an OC, this is a very fortunate hire for all involved. LSU nation sd be ecstatic this is a game changer move. Kudos to CLM and the AD for getting this guy signed sealed and delivered. This was the biggest recruit of 2013.
