In the market for 2 trolling motor batteries and a cranking battery that I also run my "accessories" off of. Love the idea of maintenance free. I just don't know which of the blue top optimas to go with. Anybody with experience with these batteries?

We havent had good luck with optima lately.
I would recommend oddessy or Trojan

What motor you have? Optimaxes need 1000 CRA power. Find out what your motor needs.
I like interstate batteries.

+1 on the Interstate Batteries
I would go with 4 27 batteries 2 for trolling motor and 2 with a switch for the outboard.

Interstate makes a good battery but use some oddesseys and get 10yrs out of them for trolling motor batteries and going on 8 in golfcart.
Plus you can fish twice as long without a charge and go 50 miles on a charge in the golfcart. Could only get 15-20 miles out of lead acid batteries.

depends on what you are using them for. The D31's are the big ones & they are dual purpose meaning that they can be used for both cranking & trolling. I have 5 of them in my boat, 2 for cranking & 3 for trolling.

I like interstates a lot . I went to a napa gel cell this time and have been pleased with them so far . My last boat I had some dura last golds they were 36 month free replacement and I never had a problem with those either
