U.S. vs El Salvador too.

And damn, that did look like a fixed goal.

I'm assuming if there is match fixing that the goalkeeper is in on every fixed game. Has to be.

That would make sense.

I've always thought those live bets and weird props that you see on streaming sites were shady.

USA - Slovenia is the low hanging fruit, obviously. Unknown ref from a poor country makes mind-boggling decisions..... That's either match-fixing or incompetence at levels never seen before.

I wouldn't be surprised if the 0-0 results against Spain in '08(?) and Argentina in '09(?) are good candidates. High-profile, so it will draw action, Spain and Argentina were certainly heavy favorites, but the games were friendlies, so "nobody gets hurt."

I'll have to rewatch those this weekend with that in mind.

I'd love to see what other matches we can identify as "suspect."

Most of these fixings were probably prop type bets. First yellow card, more corners, things like that. Really easy to fix and it might explain Jermaine Jones.

They say most of the money was shuffled on the Asian Handicap: Winner + O/U on Total Goals

They just said most of the money in Asia is moved on either outright winners or over/under goals scored. So questionable late minute goals or blowouts with multiple questionable goals need to be looked at

I'm not buying the Kljestan goal. At 90+, that may have been tired mistake.

The Panama loss in the Gold Cup is another candidate. First goal comes on a really questionable free kick given, second comes on a slightly less questionable Ream foul/Blas Perez dive for a PK. I seem to recall a PK waved off for us in that one as well. Would fit another "heavy favorite" surprise result as well.

Wouldn't be surprising.

Slovenia game though... shite. Had to be.
