I'm hearing that the NY Giants may cut him to make salary cap space for Victor Cruz.

He's had a great career. But if last season was any indication of his future, best of luck to him elsewhere.

Solid career but TBH, I thought he was going to be a lock down corner in the NFL

Do not want

I'd love to have him for cheap. He's very solid. I know y'all will tear him down because he's an lsu guy but he's a good player

Better than any player in our secondary but one. Considering our cap situation and lack of depth at corner every single year, I'd be happy to have him for a decent price.

Obviously, we do not want him UNLESS he comes to us for a very big discount.

Well he's not going to make whatever he was making in NY.

He's a decent starting NFL CB. No better or worse than what we have. I'd take him as a solid third to compete with PRob at the second spot and fill in when others are injured.

If he was on the cheap. If not, then no.

Okay, saying that...is that what this defense needs? More of the same? I like CWeb, and yeah he's LSU, but this defense doesn't need diminishing skills in its free agent players. No thanks.

Had that huge pick (what turned out to be Favre's last throw as a Packer ever) in the 07 playoffs

i think pRob would be great in the nickel. Crazy how he gets so many ints despite having the worst ball judgement skills I've ever seen.

I'd rather draft a project honestly, but if we have any space (doubtful), why not

The Saints organization needs to do a better job of drafting talent for the Defense.

PRob has tons of talent. He just needs to put it together.

If we sign a corner, I'd rather look into getting Tracy Porter back on the cheap for the year. I know he may only give you ten games, but I like him splitting time with PRob for ten games.

yeah...instead of picking up other people's free agents

no offence to greer because I think he's well above average even in this age, we need someone to eventually be better than him and I don't see anyone on this team being that person.

Part of the problem is that the FO only drafts on athletic ability on defense. Football IQ gets overlooked for the most part.

Question: How many of our Defensive draft picks have panned out? How many of them have "great athleticsm and talent"?

When the defense is bad, it's easy to day that we need to draft better defensive talent.

The thing is, for the most part, our defensive players have been chosen where they were projected. Maybe a small reach here or there but no out of left field choices.

The offense on the other hand has been all over the place with guys like Nicks, Evans, Gahram and Colston.
