Most Disappointed Youve Ever Been In A Movie

***Disclaimer ***
Anything by Michael Bay does not count. Be original.
I'm gonna go with Sphere. It's one of my favorite novels, and had a fantastic cast. But it completely missed the point of the novel. The book is very suspenseful and the movie just wasn't. And changing Normans involvement at the endgame changes the entire story.
The ending scene was just awful with the sphere flying out of the water.
What you got?

Titanic. I thought it was going to be a ripping action-adventure, not a chick flick.

Adaptation.
Absolutely horrible.

Alexander, I'm a huge history buff and that movie was such a pile of hot vomit I walked out.

Phantom Menace by a long shot.
I like parts of it but that was the most I've ever been let down.

I was really disappointed in Terminator Salvation
The trailer looked awesome, it had Christian Bale. I was expecting so much. It was meh

Yeah, it was decent until the ending, then it went to terrible in my opinion.

Good call, but it was only mildly disappointing for me...I still enjoyed it.
Indiana Jones atKotCS is up there for me.
I enjoyed the SW prequels well enough. I thought Buried was really good.
Human Centipede 2 is definitely fricking up there. frick that piece of shite movie.
I was a little disappointed in Jacob's Ladder, but that's because I had heard so many things about how fricked up it was and it wasn't anything special. But I think maybe seeing it when it came out would've been better than just a year or two ago like I did.
Cabin Fever is another one that I was really disappointed in. That movie blows.

I was certainly disappointed by the Wild Wild West
I'm a big fan of the TV show, and done right a movie version would not only have established a successful and profitable franchise, but probably spurred popularity of westerns in general.
Instead it just a piece of shite.

After casting Will Smith as Jim West, and having a theme song for a western feat. Sysqo, my expectations were decidedly tamed.

Another Crichton movie completely bastardized. I really can't believe Spielberg put that movie out.

This is a really good one. I grew up on reruns of this show and still don't understand how you frick up Cowboys + James Bond. HOW??
