I would be shocked if it passed as its written. I can see the ban but allowing grandfathered weapons. I wouldnt register nor surrender if i lived there. Just be very careful.

This is scary stuff though.

The wife and I were over there a couple years ago. One of the best trips we have ever been on. Loved it.

Opponents should point out it took 20 shots by trained law enforcement to stop 2 unarmed women this morning. How do they expect an untrained citizen to stop an armed intruder or defend themselves with only 10 rds?

Has anyone said that California needs to sink in the pacific yet?

All the Cali gun talk and no one mentions the police shooting a blue Tacoma with two women in it full of holes just because of some mistaken identity? OB slacking

I live here, do I deserve this?

To the OP - I don't see this happening/passing. There is still a large number of folks who still believe in the 2nd. The area along the coast is where all of this originates. Luckily there's plenty more of the state that still has rational thought patterns and loves freedom and liberty.

I know a few people in CA and they are all very conservative. Other than LA and San Fran, CA is a great place, but those two shite holes have the biggest populations and they are extremely liberal and for the most part stupid.

I'm glad they're doing this. When shite starts getting bad over there we'll have a case study of why gun control doesn't work, as if Chicago wasn't good enough already.

Good people of Cali, time to leave, it's about to get rough over there.

Yep. I'm predicting Cali is gonna lose some of those 55 electoral votes soon. Redistributed to places like Texas.

I've seen it all now.

I'd love to see if they disarm their personal body guards as well.

Even the police department in that story called the idea insane.
