I love shooting Ruger 22s but man those things are hard to field strip and reassemble.

That's what I hear. Haven't shot it enough to have to strip it down yet though. I searched that fast fire sight you mentioned earlier. Know of anything cheaper?

You can find a bunch of options on MidwayUSA.com, but you get what you pay for. The Burris is one of the best value reflex sights out there. And I think it has an awesome warranty so it should last the life of the gun.

You could get an NC Star sight from Midway but it will eventually break. Again, you get what you pay for.

Once again, I didn't paint it myself dick. Read the post next time

Sheeze dude... Calm down. Someone piss in your cheerios this morning?

Besides... If YOU'D have read MY post more thoroughly, you'd have seen that I said:

"The paint job I had done is pretty shitty and I'm too embarrassed to post a picture of it."
.

I was fricking with you. We all frick with each other around here. Just ask NascarFan how much he gets fricked with about his Puddle!

It actually does look good. I like it. Want to trade a Mossberg 715T Tactical .22 for it?

That actually doesn't look too bad. I love those little Rugers, but they really aren't worth too much. Like has been said, they are only about 300 new, and the paint actually decreases value. People are either going to like it or hate it. That being said, you could ask 300, maybe someone will jump on it. Hell, try to trade.

I brought one to a smith when I was younger and asked him to show me how to strip it. He laughed and said he had made a living on those damn pistols. He showed me. It didn't help. I still paid him to clean it.

Bought one a couple of weeks ago and put about a hundred rounds through it on Monday.

The ammo I shot was really dirty so I decided to take it down and clean it. Took me the better part of Monday evening and about 10 youtube videos to put it back together.

I came really close to throwing it in the trash but it was so much fun to shoot that I was motivated to finally get the gun back together.
