Ruger 22/45 Mark III Help

So this gun was given to me as a birthday present and I'm not one to sell my guns, but I don't want to spend the money to buy a scope for it. What would the OB pay for a pistol like this?? I also have put a custom 2-tone paint job on it and only put 20 rounds through it

Was thinking the SAME thing... Some people can totally frick up a gun when doing this yet make themselves believe it looks good. I'd have to see the finished results.

Haha. I didn't paint it. I had it done. It's OD green on the frame and flat black on top. The picture I had you couldn't really see the difference. And only $200??? Might as well keep it then

The green on mine is a little darker than this one. But this is the picture I had the guy go off of

Those guns are a hair over $300 brand new IIRC.

You could probably get $150-200 for it on a trade if its in really good condition.

It's in excellent condition. Put 2 mags through it and put it up after I had it painted

If you're bent on selling it put it up for $275-300 and see what you can get.

And somebody might not want to give you 100 bucks for it cause of the paint job. I am guessing since you dont want to post the pic that it isnt really that good of a paint job.

Hell I'll buy it and strip it to the bone if the paint sucks. You don't necessarily need a "scope" because it would be impractical and heavy as frick. But if you slap a Burris fast fire on it, you'd be Rollin.
