I got some running around to do tomorrow and it's either crockpot dinner or fast food. I have plenty of chicken breasts and a slow cooker. Anyone got some new ideas about what to attempt?

TIA

I liked the taco idea. With your suggestion and a Google search I ended up with:

(4) chicken breasts
1/2 cup chicken stock
1/2 cup salsa
(1) packet of taco seasoning

Put it in on LOW at noon. Hopefully it'll be ready to shred and eat by 5:30.

Thanks!

I do this with thighs, but I'm sure it's good with breasts too...

Put a bunch of chicken thighs in the crockpot. Cover with 1/2 a bottle of wing sauce and 1/2 a packet of ranch dressing mix.

Cook on high 5 hours.

Shred the chicken. You can discard the skin if you want, or leave it.

Put the shredded chicken back in the crockpot with the rest of the wing sauce and ranch dressing mix. Add 1/4 stick of butter.

Cook on low for 1 hour.

Serve on toasted buns with lettuce, red onion and blue cheese or ranch dressing.
