Ole Miss landed what is probably its best recruiting class ever and I am sick and tired of the talking heads on television speculate if they somehow cheated. They should put up or shut up.

A resurgent Old Miss helps the SEC. It also helps LSU because spanking that Black Bear arse will be all the more fun and impressive.

I'm happy for them.

As if there's any way they didn't.

I'd take our class any day of the week. Their class is all over the place. Ours is purpose built to cover our strengths

They picked up 6 or 7 really good guys, and then shite the bed with the rest of them. And the 6 or 7 may be pushing it.

It is probably the 5th best class this year. Hardly the best class ever

After their top 6-7 players it drops off a talent cliff to players that wouldn't get schollie offers from the likes of LSU and Bama

Haters gonna hate. LSU has a great program, but Ole Miss has the potential for a good one with an innovative, charismatic coach. The LSU fans who are shocked any kid would rather go to Ole Miss vs another school aren't looking at playing time, campus life, college town atmosphere, etc. My jimmies aren't rustled as I live in BR and most of my friends are big LSU fans and I pull for them too, but it gets a little stale hearing the disdain for another SEC school. I'm old enough to remember the Hallman years and just glad it doesn't look like we will go O fer in the SEC in the near future. Cheers

I agree that you have a good coach. The true test of that is how he will do in the long run.

If we are talking about OM's recruiting class, I am not in the least jealous of who you guys got. Yes, you got RN, Tunsil and some others. But if you look from the top down, I think LSU has a better class.

I think both teams got positions of need. OM needed a whole team sans QB and LB replaced. LSU only needed a couple areas replenished...

I agree Gee..LSU has by far the superior talent returning and likely coming in but for Ole Miss, heck, this was a big day as we have lots of holes to fill and partly why we were able to fill some of them.

I think the only reason why OM gets bashed is because they are second-tier in the SEC. Yes, they almost beat LSU last year. Not going to make excuses. But seriously, what does OM have that LSU, Bama, or even aTm not have that is better?

(aTm has the man cheerleaders, but we won't hold that against them right now)

Facilities, Athletic Dept revenue and notoriety, better track record of sending kids to the next level, higher graduation rates, program lineage in regards to SEC and NCs, nationally televised games on a more weekly and frequent basis. I can keep going......

Also forgot to include Stadium size, historical significance of said stadium, and stronger attendance figures.

Ole Miss made a great stride in building a program with this recruiting class. LSU, Bama, Georgia, and Florida, are much further along and have established programs.

The type of class Ole Miss had this year is expected from these programs each and every year. Anything less is unexceptable to the respective fan bases.
