Is "The Bachelor" the stupidest f***ing sh*t on TV?

Don't ask me how, but I ended up watching an episode last night where nine beautiful women are all so much in love with this one blond-headed guy. Eventually, I think, he has to whittle them down to one oh-so-lucky cough gal.
It has apparently escaped everybody's notice on that show that what transpires on a fully-paid vacation in beautiful locations without a care in the world is not necessarily a good predictor of what would happen in real life.
Any fans? If so, you're a dingbat.

I've watched Honey Boo Boo and I'm always entertained.... although I miss the pig. Don't know a thing about Real Housewives.

I haven't watched The Bachelor or Honey Boo Boo, but you couldn't pay me to watch Honey Boo Boo. That kind of invalidates your entire argument. A guy choosing between chicks for someone he might "marry" is the "stupidest f***ing sh*t on tv" but yet a reality show revolving around a family who enters their seven year old daughter into beauty pageants is entertaining?

The hot chicks is a pretty good point, but Honey Boo Boo is at least somewhat comical side...I'm not saying it is funny or defending it at all, but If I had to pick between the two based on entertainment I would have to go Honey Boo Boo.
The bachelor is just the epitome of worthless for me. Every single season and episode is the same and the complete and utter ignorance of the girls is so hard to watch. Not to mention the sappiness of it just takes the life out of me.
Not to mention that every episode of the bachelor is 2 hours long.

People watch it just to see how catty these girls can get and how ridiculous the show's premise is.
The hotter the girls are, the crazier they are. And if you cram them into a house for an extended period, you're gonna get some catfights.
This show has had some gems in the past like one with the bachelor dumping his pick for the runner up on national TV, and his final pick was a dallas cowboys cheerleader FWIW.
The talent is fine to look at.

At least the Bachelor is easy on the eyes with very attractive men and women that are successful in their real lives. You know, unlike the ugly pieces of shite on Boo Boo that leech on society.

The majority of Americans are easily entertained and easily fooled with very short attention spans. Pretty much any female I know thinks that show is real and not scripted at all.

I would love to see some guy go on "The Bachelor" and say straight up "I got a bet with my boy that I can screw a dozen of these chicks." And then whenever they cut to one of these women talking about how they've bonded with the guy, he would just say "Five" or "I tapped that arse."

Jeez you need to reevaluate your friendships immediately. I do not know one girl who takes the show seriously or thinks that it is real

The tensions and problems are real. They are exacerbated intentionally by the producers sometimes through a cast member.

All of that stuff is horrible. I've got a buddy that got cast on the Bachelorette, and another that is going to be on Millionaire Matchmaker next week.
I've never failed to be embarrassed for them and myself the other 3x friends were on reality shows. Whatever it takes to get famous I guess.
