Tim Hardaway, Jr.

I know we don't really need anymore guards, but I like this guy. He can flat out shoot. Would be great to have off the bench.

Thoughts?

I think he'd be a great get. Can certainly space and shoot the 3 very well IMO.

I phrased that wrong. I should say that guard isn't our #1 priority. SF is.

Meh, we need an upgrade on the bench at every position except PF

very true. But I think an upgrade on the bench at guard is more likely and would have a greater impact than an upgrade on the bench at Center.

OK, with that said. Thoughts on taking Hardaway? Not sure if he's a lottery guy though.

Hardaway is legit.....rivers is pathetic...he will never amount to much in the NBA. He was AAU trash and went to Duke for 1 year. I think Coach K may have gotten to trash out of him if he would have stayed longer, but he didnt get enough out of his 1 year at Duke.

The only thing I know about him is his father was one of my favorite players of his era, but he's not ranked very legitimately by the mock drafts.

What does this even mean? Wasn't Rivers rated the #2 HS prospect in the country behind Davis?

Is this really a question? I would think that almost everybody would say Coach K is a way better coach and could have signed his NBA ticket at any time for any job he wanted (he's passed on the Lakers at least twice)..

Rivers isn't trash. He's certainly having a rough, horrible start, but i think he has the ethic to grow into a great 2 guard off the bench. He's shown he can penetrate but has to work on his shot selection and his shot in general. His defensive is good and will continue to develop. Yall just wanted a starter out of him out the gate, but he just has a lot more development.
