| XBox purchasing advice (Posted on 2/5/13 at 6:39 pm)
I will start by saying I haven't had a system since the PS2, and rarely play video games. However, I find myself never having much to do on weekdays after work and the girlfriend wants to do some fitness shite using kinect. Is the cheapest model sufficient for playing a few games, streaming Netflix, and her using kinect?

Is there an echo in here? Seriously though, the 4GB model should do what you want but you will run out of space real quick if you do more than a small amount of gaming.

I apologize if this has been asked before. This is the first time I have ever ventured to this board

I would probably play some Call of Duty, NCAA football, and Madden. I have no idea how the kinect stuff would come into play. Would you still think the 4GB will do the trick for me?

No need, just a joke since we had a guy ask this the other day.

Yes. The only issue I might forsee is if you want DLC which will fill up that 4GB, but you can use USB flash drives to get by.

They sell the kinect in a bundle with the system. The price is steep however for the 250gb system so for your needs I would just go with the 4gb. Flash drives work.

I have the 4GB and regularly play FIFA, Skyrim, and BLOPS (with revolution DLC), but that's it. I also stream Netflix a good bit. After all is said and done I have about 1GB of hard drive left so I'm good for now, but I'll have to go grab an additional hard drive soon.
