I've never been to Curbside but it's basically a burger/sausage truck that travels to different locations in BR for lunch/dinner/late night crowd. Never been but supposedly it's the best burger in BR. I've been wanting to try it.

So what the hell is Curbside? I googled and apparently it's a B.R. thing? I've seen it mentioned before. Is it actually good or is it one of those things like Johnny's Pizza, etc? Honest question.

Good. KGB Burger is outstanding.

Had a Brian Burger today for lunch. Absurdly salty deliciousness. That place is really cool when the music is right and the douches aren't out in force.

Went to the Curbside truck on Wed and I have to say, I was disappointed. Felt like the burger quality fell off a little. Didn't see Nick or any usual guys working, I'm assuming they were at Barcadia. The real problem was the fries. I did not get a single fry that was even an inch in length. It was a bunch of inedible scraps. I've never been huge on their fries but this was absurd

went there for lunch and had the KGB. The patty was small compared to the bun. I thought the patty was really dry. The egg added nice flavor to the burger. Fries were a abundant serving and pretty decent.

I left unimpressed but I'll try it again at some point

I went there Thursday. I got the burger with the fried cheese and it was pretty damn good. They also sent me out an order of free fries, which were very good

I ate there at around 2 today and it was empty. By the time I left about 15 people had shown up. Half tourists, half meat heads. I skedaddled when I heard the bartender tell a couple from out of town who were looking for a poboy "oh go right down the street to Mothers, it's like the best poboy ever."

My girlfriend and another couple good friends stopped in there today. There were three of them and the employee took two of the orders and then told my third friend the kitchen was closed. He also charged my girlfriend's card twice and then apologized and said he was drunk. When they did get their two burgers they said they were small and lukewarm. One of my friends is a big fan of the truck in BR and he said it was terrible compared to the truck.

I understand it's mardi gras, but that's no excuse to have drunk employees and sub-par food.

That sucks pretty bad, especially when you're trying to establish a name.

Got a KGB and cheese fries two days ago. Burger was great. Wish the fries would have been waffle cut.

The blonde bartender was super hot too. I left her $50 tip to try to get in her pants. Guess I still had the strip club mentality

i went there during Bacchus, and despite spending like $100, the bouncer wouldnt let me back inside the bar to use the bathroom with the drink I bought in their own bar. fricking ridiculous. this went on everytime i tried to reenter. I even showed him my receipt.

dont think im going back there, it was very off-putting

That's ridiculous. Don't owners realize doormen are basically the face of their business? Sounds like some dude on a roid trip. Or he's too stringent on enforcing management's policies. Either way that's some BS.

I agree. they had a bar set up facing outside, but they couldn't run cards. So i was going in and out buying drinks, watching the parade, and going back in to pee.

i had to set my drink down outside to go in.

Is there any reason whatsoever I should make a special effort to check this place out?

despite the lukewarm review above, the food is good

the place itself is pretty cool too.
